Why am I THANKFUL for this day???? I am so done with my Christmas
shopping and tonight I did my grocery shopping for the Holiday! Can you spell STRESS RELIEF??? Oh, haha, I just did!! I was seriously stressing over my moms gift and the last place I looked Hobby Lobby, HOLY COW!! They had it! Oh, but then they have EVERYTHING!! Next yr, that will be my first stop!!
Well, tomorrow I will be working all day so I will say it now!! TGIF!!! I am off this weekend and I have absolutely nothing to do....I might just use my gift certificate and get my nails done!!! =)

What was for supper and well Bethany was a bit confused, I don't remember how old she was the last time we ate breakfast for dinner but this was new for her as you can tell she HELPED!! Of course we can't have pancakes without creamy PB and Beth with her powder sugar. She also wanted the eggs so I had her break them and mix em' up!! Next question "Mom whats for Dinner??, I mean what's for breakfast in the morning??" My replay "who knows maybe fried chicken and tators!!" *Smiles

ONCE BITTEN

A month ago, I heard people talk about Twilight and I was like, HUH? I had absolutely no idea what it was.....


I seen the clothes at Hot topic and never looked twice. Then Bethany and I went to the movies and BOOM....Twilight it was. Once I watched the movie, I could'nt stop talking about it. Then realized I was way behind on things. BOOKS!!! I had no clue!! A girl I work with had the whole series so here I am on the last book Breaking Dawn..knowing it is the last, I really wanna take my time but I am so curious to know the ending!! The word was there was going to be a 5th book "Midnight Sun" however someone stole the authers draft and she is up in the air if she will be releasing it. Needless to say she feels a bit like Victoria and would like revenge!! If you have'nt read these, they are a MOST HAVE!!!!

Tis' the season

I am so in love with this tall guy.....At the top is a rotating Santa with a sleigh.............. These are a few of my favorite ornaments...the one above is a wreath hand made by my aunt Cookie, I have nearly twenty of these on our tree..The one below was given to Bethany by her Granny Beth her first Christmas, it's an actual egg REAL, with a precious moments figurine inside, PRETTY COOL, HUH???

Last but not least in another treasure. A starfish REAL AGAIN, you can actually smell the stink if you stick it to your nose, however the children's Dear Aunt Kathie and Uncle Coy brought this from a Florida trip 8yrs. ago

Look very closely at these pictures!! This is what my daughter drew in what I would say 15minutes of waiting for me to get off from work. I found these in my desk a few days later and I was speechless!! ESTATIC!!! Bethany is now 10 and she has had the love for drawing and arts since very little I just never realized how talented she really was!!! *This little mousey was hungry!! Dirty santa.. part two the finale

Last night was our GIRLY GIRL Christmas party and it was a HOOT!!! We ate, we DRANK WAY TO MUCH and we played DIRTY SANTA!! There were 18 of us and my number was 16, so my chances of me getting something good was HIGH!! So I thought!! Candice, however opened the gift I brought from Kirkland's, in which I promised to tell after the party. It was a Collage frame that had the word LAUGH in 3d form, obviously a hit because she did'nt keep it long!! There were gifts from coffee baskets to bath and body baskets, Avon and Beauty Control and my choice the movie basket...it consisted of the "SEX IN THE CITY" dvd along with the "WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS"dvd not to mention BOXES of skittles, sugar babies, hot tamales plus to top off the basket there were popcorn packages!! I so wanted to keep it but NOoooo Santa was really dirty last night!! I did however get a nice basket with bath and body along with cocoa and a pretty new cup!! I was happy just not as HAPPY when I had the movie basket in my hands!! LOL Here are some silly photo shots!!

Wheres the fire??

Ok, let me start by saying this is a bit personal but yet one of my funniest moments and I just had to share. It was a cold, dark night...not a creature was stirring, not even the children.....sleepy beauty was sleeping so peacefully in her bed when prince charming decided to wake her with his masculine touch, things were getting pretty steaming, so much I suppose the smoke alarm was beeping(you know the sound when the 9volt is going out!!) We try to ignore, but the beeping continues....WE JUMP out of bed to hear what's the matter and to our surprise not even a CLATTER or a DARN BEEP!!! So we tiptoe back to our room, children still tucked in their beds and we quietly lock our door and I slide back in bed while Prince charming slides in from the bottom...that's when I feel his warm hands on my legs moving in for the "BEEP" BEEP" BEEP" Yep, you got it....the darn alarm went off again!! This TIME, Sleeping beauty, is FULLY awake and NOT HAPPY!!! We have came to conclusion that we are just smoking hot together or our beloved Uncle Ray who we have in a lovely Urn by our bedside decided to play tricks on us!! OK, RAY, SO NOT FUNNY!!!!!

Catching up.....

I have been so slacking in the blog department! I have however found time to read most of your blogs. (those of you that have'nt been slacking too!) Gosh, where do i start...BUSY BUSY BUSY!! Oh and SICK!! Last week I had a terrible head cold, does that count for anything? Then there was Thanksgiving and Oh, how thankful I was for Furrs buffet...no clean-up! But no leftovers either :( Then of course there was Black Friday, has it always been called that?? I go every year and this was the first I had heard that and OMG, people are crazy!! Ok, well some are! I was totally normal and patient. I never pushed, grabbed or cussed! (I patted myself on the back, TY) Scott and I did some heavy shopping, starting at 5am and at about 730am we hit Furrs again for breakfast...WOW, that was delicious!! Then shopped somemore and around noon we went to the movies and seen Four Christmas's, I am such a huge Reece fan, I just have nothing bad to say about her. It was a funny and cute movie!! Confession Time!! when Scott and I got home, we started to wrap the gifts before kids came home and well ummm, WE PLAYED WITH SOME OF THEM BEFORE WE WRAPPED THEM!!! THERE!!! I DID IT!! Was that wrong?? It was FUN!!! I just hope nothing was saved on the XBOX!! LOL!! I know it has been 6 days since my last post...my goal is to not exceed 3 *wink but life just gets CRAZY sometimes!!!

If I could scream....

And if it would help me sleep I WOULD!!! Here it is nearly 3am and I am online, why?? Simply because I woke up!! An Hour ago, I looked at the clock (thinking it had to be close to time to get up!!) to see it was ONLY 2am!! WHAT!!!! This could not be happening!! I have to be at work in like 5hrs, well now 4hrs. This simply sucks! First thing I wanted was some cereal but I settled on a glass of warm milk. (mom always told me this helps!) Now here I am. I have read all of my emails, read all of the updated blogs from my fellow bloggers including this one from cjane http://www.dailymail.co.uk/you/article-1086987/Three-weeks-photo-taken-family-torn-apart.html One of these days I will learn how to add the links like cjane does, NOT TONIGHT!!! Oh, I mean NOT THIS MORNING!! Grrrrrr Anyways, now I am looking up baby names for my friend Crissy, who just found out she is due next July! She likes to have everything planned and organized, plus I guess now she has a theme for baby names. They need to end with SON or TON!! Well, most of us are predicting it is another boy, let's hope so, because there aren't alot of girls names that end in that form. She already has an Allison so therefore, all of the other names sound to much the same....they would both be awnsering, that could get aggrivating! I do however love the name Peyton, if you could get past that evil nanny movie. Ok, I AM GETTING SLEEPY NOW!! GONNA BE A LONG DAY!!!!!

To cute, not to mention...

Ok, So yesterday, after rifle siteing Mr.Alden and I went shopping for hunting gear. We first hit the resale shop for Zach a coat. We found this army coat which is perfect for him. However on the sleeves there's a piece of Velcro but no attaching piece to make the cuff tighter. Soooo, Mr. Alden puts on his thinking cap, decides to remove a piece of Velcro from one spot, where it is not needed and SEW and yes, HE SEWED this piece where he wanted it.(he took home ec) And no, I had no clue he knew how to thread a needle and sew but HE DID, with NO HELP!! WOW!! Cute thing is later he mentioned...I TOOK NO PICTURES TO BLOG!! How cute is that????(I guess I was in to much of a hurry to eat Green papaya before he went to work.)

Oh, what a SITE!!!

Yesterday morning I went rifle siteing with my Mr.Alden and my Other Mr.Alden (father n law). It was cold and LOUD! Noone told me to take ear plugs but thank goodness Dad n Law comes prepared....check out the cotton in Scotts ear..TO FUNNY!!

Postle on the Postal service....

Ok....so I did'nt!! But I so wanted to! Remember the air fresheners I told ya'l about?? See post below!! Well, They were supposed of been delivered LAST Friday. So I called the post office today to see what's up! They tell me that the carrier remembered the package, an envelope that weighed hardly nothing, that she put it in my mailbox!! I was a bit confused on how these fit in an envelope but I have seen the ebayers ship things oddly!! But the lady continued to tell me that the carrier knew her way round, even tho later in the conversation she told me this same carrier was new!! I hung up feeling as tho I would never have my wonderful scents!! Then I arrive home hours later to find a WHITE box on my doorstep...Ha!! Yep, my envelope somehow turned into a box and just so happened grew legs and found HOME!! Just wait until tomorrow when I call this KIM!!!! Ok, so I am so thankful that my box found ME!!!

Dirty Santa Part 1

In 2wks. we will be having our clinic Christmas Party at the Barbi house. Today I did alittle shopping. I was trying to find something unique and something EVERYONE would want (including me) so I went to Kirkland's www.kirklands.comI absolutely love that store. And of course Dakota said I spent most of my time shopping there today. (can't help it!!) Well you guys will find out in Um mm 2weeks!!! =)

The BUSSTOP!!

And nope I ain't talking about a BUS stop!! Today after my mother and I took Dakota to his Dr. appt and then shopping at the mall, she and I visited the BUSTSTOP http://www.buststop.com/ Needless to say I was SHOCKED!!!!

Never have I spent more then $40 on a bra. These start at $40 and go up....way UP!! I tried on SEVERAL and fell in love with the most expensive $124 a piece. Of course they are pretty and the fit was perfect..So i guess this will be on my Christmas list. I just could'nt get myself to pay that. Altho she did tell me that after Christmas EVERYTHING in the store will be %25 OFF WOOOOHOOOOO!

Getting an early start

Presents before a tree???Every year when we put out presents we do so with NO names. This way the kids don't mess with them and accidentally tare one. HA
Well yesterday I had to start the holiday gift wrapping for one reason....so I wouldn't lose them, YES, I am capable of losing them!!!
I cannot say what I got for the simple fact Mr. Alden does read this from time to time.

Belated

Thankful Thursday! (Friday) Gosh, I was so tired last night to be thankful for anything but the pillow I rest my head, well, except I did notice one thing, THIS.....How, many men would scrub the tub?? As I went to get the bath water ready for Bethany last night, I was blinded by the shininess of our white tub. I was thinking it was the same color as the tile...LOL J/k So of course I had to call Mr.Alden at work and let him know I noticed!!!
Me: Hey Honey..
Mr. Alden: Hey...
Me: Did you scrub the tub today?? ( only obvious)
Mr. ALden: Yep
Me: Well, Thank you!!
Mr.ALden: Your welcome!!
Me:Why, am I thanking you?? It's your nasty butt scum too!! LOL
Mr.Alden: not as mush as it is Bethanys!! (He did!!, because shes usually the one that has baths)
Me: Well, it looks great! I was blinded when I opened the curtain.

She Spoke!!

For those of you that have noticed my button--->
I read NieNie,perhaps even gone to her blog and have been a bit confused. Start by reading this link...http://www.azcentral.com/php-bin/clicktrack/email.php/8404317 it is the beginning of a new chapter for NieNie and Mr. Neilson. A friend of mine (Crissy) told me this story back in Sept. Since then I have followed her and her sisters blog. Her sister has been reposting Nies fellow bloggers favorites!!! Her blogs go back 3 years. Amazing writers and their lives are so full of love, I envy them. The accident happened back in Aug 08' but you may view her previous blogs. They're like a novel with PICTURES!!! They are of a faith I have no knowledge of but the love they have for God and their families are just "SPECIAL!!" Once you have read her story, you will know why I am so excited...this past weekend, SHE SPOKE!!!

Totally hooked...

WOW!! Last month I purchased a Febreze Noticeable and I gotta tell ya, walking into my house smells like walking into a bakery! It smells yummy and dangerous! haha You gotta try these, they are the best thing since skittles and they last up to a month. (no joke!!) My favorite is the Autumn Harvest, which of course is limited for the holidays and need I say SOLD OUT, everywhere I went yesterday, except EBAY!! I got 4 refills on the way!! Heehee They sell at Wal-mart for around $6, a little pricey but so worth it!!!

Just another Manic Monday

To start my day off....I had to wake 3 sleepy kids for school, (actually it was easy today) they all wanted pasta for breakfast!! Once the kiddos were off to school, I slipped back into bed next to my Mr.Alden and fell back asleep...it was cloudy and rainy out, so it was perfect! When we woke, I started cleaning house but then remembered Mr.Alden needed a haircut, so got that done.(mad at myself for no pictures) Then for payment he offered to take me to the Green Papaya for lunch. (my favorite, I couldn't pass that one up!!)

After our amazing lunch, my Mr.Alden went to work and I had to pick kids up early from school, then drive back to the Ft. to the dentist. This place is great!!! Trains, games and more games! Did I mention a t.v above every table so the kids can watch their favorite shows while getting a cleaning.

Gosh, where were these dentist when I was little?? (I threw fits, til my parents WOULDN'T take me!!) This one even the big kids love!! (notice Dakota wearing his shades?? To cute!)

It was a great day considering it was Monday, I spent it with the ones that I love most!!!! Now, dinner is out of the way and to the dishes, I am on my way!!!

I Kiss This Cook

Tonight my Mr. Alden cooked fried chicken, as I was doing the mashed potatoes and gravy! We work well as a team. And our dinner was delicious!!!!

We took the children to the movies today and seen Madagascar 2. And it is by far, a waste of money. I laughed a few times but this one had nothing on the first. I say wait until it is out on dvd ;)
