Hello Again

Hi Guys, I'm back!!! Gosh, it has been so long since I have posted....a certain online game has taken my attention (won't say it out loud!! SO ADDICTIVE!! ) We recently had our Napoli Family reunion and I come to realize I have my very own Coupon Mom in the family. Mellisa (married to my cousin Jeremy) is just amazing and so very helpful. A 29 yr old stay at home Mother/ R.N of 2 young children. She seems to have her hands full alone with the chores of being a mother and a wife but now has grown the passion of not only saving her family and friends money but her blog FUNSAVINGMONEY is open to the public.!!!!With daily post and weekly coupon ads. She has my attention now!! For sometime now I have cut coupons but have forgotten them at home. She has given me great tips and I so plan on using them! Winter...Spring??? Which is it???

This weather is just CRAZY!!!! It does'nt know what it's wants to do...one day we will have sunshine and 70 degrees and now tomorrow calling for lows in the 20's with BIG chance of snow!!! This is just GREAT! I have the weekend off, kids to entertain and looks like we will be stuck indoors!! LOVELY!!! I suppose I will get to my Spring cleaning and clean out the closets.....a little extra Cancun spending money =) Did I mention, our passports are coming ??? I am so EXCITED!!!

1 month update.....

One month and doing well!! (pat on the back) I gone to my weight watchers meeting this past Monday which was a month into my new life of eating healthier and adding more activity into my daily!! As of Monday I have lost a total of 10.2 lbs. I weighed the same this Monday as I did last...but I was'nt discouraged...the whole pmsing and bloating has to be the cause of that. I weighed today and I was 4 lbs lighter then I was Monday!!! LOL I am still gonna post some pics!!!=)

My Journey

Last week was the first week of My New Life . My Mom and I have put on

a buddy system and joined Weight watchers. Never did I believe how simple

it would be to actually eat better..WHAT?? I am putting in 100%, not just for

myself but for my family. Of course they will continue to have their nightly snack

full of calories and I have something just as satisfying but I know I will not regret it come

Mondays weigh in. I have set a goal to lose at least 5% of my weight a week. This past Monday I did better then that!! I lost 5.8lbs. and Mom lost 5.6lbs. How great is that!!!! Here are some of the items I have been enjoying, not to mention the baby carrots and greens beans...and all of the FREE foods I can grab. My grocery bill has gone up, but my lunch bill on a work day NO MORE!!

Tonight I rewarded myself OMG!! And yes I ate all of this little guy, plus I made homemade bread...and still had enough points left over for my ice cream sandwich while the others had a Brownie hot fudge sundae. (it was the last of it!! *wink)

Are we there yet????

For the past month I have been surfing the net for the perfect beach getaway. My
first choice was Panama City Beach for a week but having to drive 14hrs with 2 kids in tow to get there would not be much of a vacation....Then there was the thought of a CRUISE...Oh, that would be the life...but again LOTS of driving. So here I am about to make
our reservations...CANCUN Mexico, 4 days on a private resort ALL INCLUSIVE...KIDS CLUB...can you say "Oh, Cabana Boy, hit me with another Margarita!!!"And we drive less then 2hrs and fly the rest!!! This will be an AWESOME trip for my children and I, for they have never seen the ocean and neither them or I have flown, so this will be just perfect!!! Now, I wait for our passports, while I start weight watchers and get to working on my summer tan....indoor tanning of course!!! Oh, and shop for new clothes...I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!

Tulsa trip

Today was Dakota's 3mth check up with his diabetes Dr. in Tulsa. The checkup went rather well....he is still growing.. 14yrs old 5'11 and 181lbs. We usually leave the house early and make his appt then grab a bite to eat somewhere new. Today we tried a Vietnamese restaurant RE-LA's and it had nothing on the Green papaya...boy, are we spoiled!! First dissappointment of the day!!! Then to the mall we went.....I wanted to get something cool for my new mustard colored living room..HA! I found out very quickly, my favorite store in Woodland hills mall Kirklands "HAS MOVED!!!" "WHAT??" This was no disappointment.....I was disgusted, I had planned this trip ever since I did my walls and now what will I ever do??? EBAY!!! That's what I'll do!!! Problem solved!!!

Happy, Content and a SLACKER

I realize I have just been in my own world and have put my blog on the back burner. Mr.Alden is home in the evenings now and requires so much attention (HAPPY) On my days off I spend doing the house cleaning and cooking dinner for Mr. Alden and the children (CONTENT) So....so what if yal call me names. I honestly have'nt been doing anything that would be at any interest. Oh, besides taking my 14yr old son to his first ever rock concert...AC/DC that ROCKED!!!! I will try my hardest to make time for my blog however, for now I am Happy and Content to be a SLACKER!!!! :) LOL
