SUGAR BETH...This is what they call my Momma! As most of you know she is a cake decorator. She puts alot of passion in the cakes she does. I think it is amazing how creative and talented she is. Here are a few cakes she has done, one being my wedding cake. These are not her award winning cakes, for I do not have pics of those.....but can get them *wink

Blast from the past!!!

Today Scott and I went to Wal-mart. And I am sure you all will agree with me....if we ever run into anyone, it's usually done at Wal-mart. So here we are Scott in the sporting goods and I looking in the Christmas section, as I turn around i hear this guy say "Hey Misty!" I turn, my first reaction was "who is this guy?" then I realized it was Jason Harmon, a guy i graduated with over 16yrs ago!! We started talking and trying to figure out just how long it had been and GEEZ 16 1/2 yrs since I had last seen Jason!! It was hard for he or I to believe.....he couldn't hardly believe i had a son in high school! The more we spoke I seen the old Jason, gosh he hasn't changed a bit! Still tall and skinny. Not to mention his personality, still hilarious and very comical. It was so good to see him again after so many years....but where did they all go??? I also seen Mitzy Miller at Wal-mart today just before Jason, but i do however see her from time to time!! Still very pretty and kind!!

Trick or Treat.....

Our Saturday was a little CRAZY!!! All starting at around 430, we headed to Bokoshe to Zacharys Fall program where he played the drums. (a pickle bucket) That was different!! Then we watched the little ones do their barrel racing.....it was really cute! Heck, I wonder who came up with that idea!!

Then off to Wister we went..to the lake trick or treat where they had free hot dogs and candy everywhere!! Bethany went as a pretty witch and well Zach wore his pig mask but long enough for me to snap a pic. As we were heading to the truck I passed someone who frightened me at first with her red glowing eyes then I realized I knew this person. I always heard redheads had anger issues but DANG!!! I bet she got alot of candy this yr. (ha ha)

From the lake we traveled to the Haunted hall (posted below) That was a JOKE!!! Now it is Sunday and I went to Price cutters and on my way out I drove thru Atwoods parking to find that they were hosting a costume contest for pets....recognize this one???

No time to clown around!!

I have to say it...What a DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Lets start at the beginning, here it is 830p when we are trying to follow these sign in the middle of nowhere and NO LIGHTS!! When we arrived the line was so long but heck we THOUGHT "it must move pretty fast, considering it was still early and ppl were still arriving. So we wait!! They let around 10 ppl to a group in. We were by the back door so we saw the groups as they left. We stood there for nearly 3hrs....yep you got it right! Freezing cold and seemed like we were going nowhere!! In this time frame we seen possibly 10 groups go thru and we only moved maybe 12 car spaces. Needless to say we left at 1130 without being frightened!! We were of course PI**ED!!!I understand these are volunteers and alot of kids but they were taking break after break..if they would just move alittle faster they would make ALOT MORE CASH!!! (I guess this is what i get for thinking!!!!)

I BELIEVE:that being a mom is the best and MOST IMPORTANT job out there.
I DANCE:just to be silly!
I SING:at work with the girls....it makes the day go smoother.
I DON'T ALWAYS: like having animals....altho i love em'
I DON'T LIKE:cleaning up after people!!!
I ENJOY:blogging, it's my new hobbie

I LOSE:money all the time...or do i spend it??? Ummm?????

No time for games!!!

I am a bit embarrassed to even say this but i knew it was coming!! My high schooler will sooner or later realize there is a time to play and a time NOT TO PLAY!!! Today was report card day and he knew he done been had, today he had his first failing grade EVER!! And Momma ain't happy!!!! I lectured... as he SMILED!! Oh , if I could only go back and do things differently!! I am realizing he has one of my bad traits....that would be my MOUTH!!! He is now sitting in the front seat, next to the teacher, so he can't cut up!! And when he gets home, I will be hearing "I'M BORED!!" because he ain't gonna be playing games!! This is HIGH SCHOOL!!!! (But I do LOVE the big fart (Dakota))

Snack Time!!

Every night for as long as i can remember, Bethany has to have her Popcorn!! She just absolutely Loves it!! Sometimes she gets kernals stuck under her tongue, those moments she does'nt like to well!! Tonight she is Content!!

Creepy little friend

Scott made a new friend today.....a spider!!! He lives in our carport. We watched him build his web and Scott caught him some dinner, he used Bethanys little net and caught a fly and threw it in the web. It was quite disgusting, watching the spider feed. Thank goodness I had already had my dinner!! But it was a pretty cool thing......

Only as old as you feel!!!

Our son, Zach brought out his guitar hero and we are having so much fun with it!! Scott is having a little trouble catching on but playing the same song over and over he is finally getting the hang of it!! *LOL Hey, It's Saturday night, we got kids, what else to do????

Girls night out!!!

Wow!! Now i now why i was only blessed with one girl! Last yr for Beths birthday i had 5 girls sleep over.....tonight i had 3, we went to Cecee's for pizza then off to the mall we went. They had a great time playing putt putt golf in the glow n the dark....that was pretty cool! They pretended they were being ate by the sharks on the wall. She got lots of new toys, including a pair of boots and an mp3 player....she's a bit spoiled, but she's mine!!! Her 10th birthday is now just about over and to the start of our preteen years!! If you are my friend,PLEASE pray for me!!!

Birthday Girl

This morning i woke her up with kisses and hugs while she was all snuggled as a bug. Not just another day of school, but a day where my little girl has become a preteen which is pretty "COOL"! No more pigtails, no more baby dolls, instead tonight we head to the mall! We will eat pizza and candy and play glow in the dark games but not to late, it's a school night, what a shame!!!! Tonight when i put my little girl to bed, i know in my head that she is growing big, but in my heart she will remain my little girl just as she did from the start!!

I seen this on a fellow bloggers page and I LOVE IT!! As you can see it is not even 6am, I am off work today and cannot sleep so just thought I'd moon everyone!! HAPPY FALL, YA'LL!!!!

I have to say it "Sherryl, job well done!!" I believe you handled today very well! You didn't know that taking on the job as supervisor, it meant taking on 9 baby chicks! We can be whiny,moody and b*tchy and sometimes all at once. I think you said it all when you said in your statement that "WE ALL LOVE ONE ANOTHER" That we do! I don't have any sisters and now I am very grateful I was never blessed with any!! 10hrs a day is enough and i am an adult, i can't imagine how it would be if we were like all 12yrs. old!! Whew, that would be an everyday storm!!! I HOPE today was a start to a new beginning!! We'll see!! *wink
